INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect “Non-Personal Information” and “Personal Information.” Non-Personal Information include information that cannot be used to personally identify you, such as anonymous usage data, general demographic information we may collect, referring/exit pages and URLs, platform types, preferences you submit and preferences that are generated based on the data you submit and number of clicks. Personal Information includes your email address and other personal data (e.g. name and surname, address and phone number etc., or corporate name, company registration number and contact person respectively), which you submit to us through the registration process at our website or while using the PIC-Inspector App (the ,,App“).

In addition, we keep a record of all business transactions you have executed with us so far.

The Company collects the following categories of information:

1.   Information you provide

This includes information submitted when you:

  • Create or update your User account, which depending on your location and the Services you use may include your full name, e-mail, phone number, login name and password, address, government identification numbers, birth date, and photo. By creating your User account, you are authorizing us to collect, store and use your email address and other personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
  • Submit information about your experience or certificates you hold
  • Offer your services through the ,,App“ or Company’s website
  • Contact the Company, including for customer support
  • Complete surveys sent to you by the Company or on behalf of the Company

2. Information created when you use our Services

This includes:

  • Location Information

Depending on the Services that you use, and your App settings or device permissions, the Company may collect your precise or approximate location information as determined through data such as GPS, IP address and WiFi.

    • The Company collects location information when the App is running in the foreground (app open and on-screen) or background (app open but not on screen) of your device. 
    • You may use the App without enabling the Company to collect your location information. However, this may affect the basic functionalities available in the App. For example, if you do not enable the Company to collect your location information, your users' experience with the App will be diminished.
  • Usage and Preference Information

We collect information about how you interact with our Services, preferences expressed, and settings chosen. In some cases we do this through the use of cookies and similar technologies that create and maintain unique identifiers. Cookies are sent to a user’s browser from our servers and are stored on the user’s device’s hard drive. Sending a cookie to a user’s browser enables us to collect Non-Personal information about that user and keep a record of the user’s preferences when utilizing our Services, both on an individual and aggregate basis.

The Company may use both persistent and session cookies; persistent cookies remain on your device after you close your session and until you delete them, while session cookies expire when you close your browser.

  • Users providing feedback, such as as ratings or compliments;

HOW WE USE AND SHARE INFORMATION

The PIC hereby represents and warrants that all personal data is considered private and confidential and as such is handled in compliance with the relevant law and the Terms and Conditions of the PIC.

In order to execute a business transaction with you, we need to contact you and obtain the aforementioned details that you disclosed when you are registered with us. Since this personal data are disclosed for the purposes of executing a respective business transaction with you, you are not required to give your explicit consent thereto.

In general, PIC uses the information it collects for purposes including:

PIC uses the information we collect to provide, personalize, maintain and improve our products and services. This includes using the information to:

  • Enable features that allow you to share information with other people;
  • Enable features to personalize your User account;
  • Perform internal operations necessary to provide our services, including to troubleshoot software bugs and operational problems, to conduct data analysis, testing, and research, and to monitor and analyze usage and activity trends.

In general, the Personal Information you provide to us is used to help us to communicate with you.

Non-Personal Information:

In general, we use Non-Personal Information to help us improve our services and customize the user experience. We also aggregate Non-Personal Information in order to track trends and analyse use patterns on the Site. This Privacy Policy does not limit in any way our use or disclosure of Non-Personal Information and we reserve the right to use and disclose such Non-Personal Information to our partners, advertisers and other third parties at our discretion.

PIC retains your information while your User account remains active, unless you ask us to delete your information or your User account.

PIC provides means for you to see and control the information that we collect, including through:

1.   Settings in the App.

2.   Device Permissions

Most mobile platforms (iOS, Android, etc.) have defined certain types of device data that apps cannot access without your consent. These platforms have different permission systems for obtaining your consent. The iOS platform will alert you the first time the App wants permission to access certain types of data and will let you consent (or not consent) to that request. Android devices will notify you of the permissions that the App seeks before you first use the App, and your use of the App constitutes your consent.

3.   Accessing and Correcting Your Information

You can edit your information associated with your account through the App.

4.   Marketing Opt-Outs

You have the right at any time to prevent us from contacting you for marketing purposes. When we send a promotional communication to a user, the user can opt out of further promotional communications by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in each promotional e-mail.

Please note that if you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional messages, such information about your account.

As part of the Product, we may provide links to or compatibility with other websites or applications. However, we are not responsible for the privacy practices employed by those websites or the information or content they contain. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by us through the Site and the Product. Therefore, this Privacy Policy does not apply to your use of a third party website accessed by selecting a link on our Site or via our Product. The Company reserves the right to change this policy and the PIC Terms of Use at any time. We will notify you of significant changes to our Privacy Policy by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your account or by placing a prominent notice on our site. Significant changes will go into effect 30 days following such notification. Non-material changes or clarifications will take effect immediately.
