Wiki / CSWIP

CSWIP provides internationally recognised, role-specific competence for people engaged in welding, joining, materials integrity and inspection in manufacturing, construction, operation or repair of high integrity structures, plant or machinery. CSWIP certification schemes are UKAS-accredited to ISO/IEC 17024, the international standard for personnel certification.

After expiration of your CSWIP certificate, you can apply for its renewal. This application needs to be done six months prior to your certificate expiry. In case to renew the certificate you need to provide authenticated evidence of your work activities and of your Continuing Professional Development. To provide this evidence, it might help you to update your CSWIP logbook regularly.

All holders of CSWIP certificate are able to buy CSWIP rubber stamp and CSWIP logbook.

CSWIP rubber stamp provides certificate holders with a means to publicly demonstrate their level of qualification(s) on relevant documentation.  The stamp displays your name, candidate number and level of qualification.

CSWIP logbook enables you to keep an up-to-date, verified record of your work activity and Continuing Professional Development.  It is compulsory to provide this evidence in a logbook form, for 5 and 10 year renewals.
(Please note that this is not applicable for 3.1U, 3.2U Underwater Inspectors, ROV Operators, Underwater Inspection Controllers or Plastics Welders).
