Adhesion testing performed using a pull-off type instrument. An aluminum pull stub (loading
fixture) is bonded onto a coated surface. After the bonding adhesive cures, the pulling force on
the pull stub is continuously increased and monitored by the instrument until the pull stub
becomes detached or until a specific force is attained
